Philippe had a 22-year career as a senior naval officer in special forces and intelligence. Philippe trained at the Britannia Royal Naval College before qualifying as a watch officer and squad leader in the French Navy’s Special Forces. Oriented towards intelligence operations, Philippe has carried out numerous missions in complex and crisis-ridden regions of Africa and the Middle East. Philippe has developed a keen interest in and alternative approaches to the issues facing private companies in the field of strategic intelligence at the crossroads of geopolitical, economic and social domains, with an emphasis on weak signals and pre-crisis warning.

At the end of 2019, Philippe co-founded Pearl Crisis Response. Since then, he has carried out numerous customer assignments in France and abroad, audits, exercises, action learning, negotiation and crisis management training.

After several years in the industry, Annouk decided to set up her own consulting firm, which is now celebrating its 16th anniversary. Specialising in strategic development, she supports numerous companies, groups, associations and start-ups in their expansion.

A former senior officer in the French Navy, he was deployed to sensitive theatres of operation where the slightest mistake could cost lives. There, he forged a leadership style rooted in composure, anticipation and cohesion in extreme situations.

He continued his career in the private sector, working for major international groups (CMA CGM, Bourbon Offshore, Sodexo), where he headed up security, risk anticipation and crisis management organisations on several continents (Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia).
For 15 years, he directly managed extortion, fraud, emergency evacuations and geopolitical tensions. He structured crisis units, trained management teams and secured operations at high-risk sites.

An operational coach and strategist, he now leads immersive training courses to prepare executive committees, management committees and managers to make decisions in uncertain situations and restore control in the midst of a storm.
A sought-after speaker on the topics of collective resilience, leadership under pressure and strategy in chaotic contexts, he is a Knight of the Légion d’Honneur and a mentor to young leaders in the making.

Olivier has a hybrid background in more ways than one: as a civil servant in the central administration of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, he has spent more than 20 years applying his skills in economic analysis and international relations on the one hand, and business management and special operations within specific units on the other.

As a senior executive for nearly 8 years at a global financial institution (UK) and member of executive committees, he headed the financial crime department for Continental Europe with a strong focus on in-depth network investigation, the implementation of complex fraud detection systems, and the development of a proactive culture of risk management and crisis resolution.

With these skills deployed in different and challenging contexts, Olivier brings to PEARL a proven method of analysing strategic and critical situations, coupled with a strong ability to define a path to resolution that combines rigorous planning, action and adaptation to the unknown.

Sebastien served 20 years as a senior intelligence officer with the French DoD. Troughout his career, he held numerous field assignements in crisis areas and led deployments in sensitive and complex environments. For several years, Sebastien was assigned to oversee a cell in charge of training and operations of a special intelligence unit. Afterwards, Sebastien joined an executive search firm as SVP, then settled his own company, specialized in cybersecurity recruitment.

He also provides training to private business companies in the field of crisis management, teambuilding and decision-making processes.
