Crisis Management Exercise for a mining group

Last July, we were in Ivory Coast where we conducted training and a crisis management exercise at one of our client’s mining sites.

As is often the case, we deal with highly skilled professionals who manage delicate situations on a daily basis, which can sometimes be stressful. But incident management is an art, and crisis management is another art, because the prerequisite is being able to work as a team outside of silos.
And this mindset, which we call the crisis management mindset, is what we began to develop at this mining client.

Team alignment was also at the heart of our intervention. Aligning the site’s operational team with the country team and the corporate team.

Our educational approach allowed us to build on the rich experience of each participant. We thus developed a program tailored to these individuals, who showed enthusiasm and a remarkable desire to learn and share.

We are continuing with a very ambitious program with this client and thank them for their trust.

The next step is distance learning for those designated to be coordinators within the corporate team (training in English and distance learning) as well as within the country and operational teams (training in French and distance learning)….
